The transaction screen contains all the detailed data that generate all other reports found in Beacon Finance. Think of the transactions page as a history of financial events that have occurred at the IC. Transactions can display commitment, obligation, accrual, or disbursement information.

The Transaction screen is updated once daily, typically by 6am EST.

What data is on the Transaction Details Screen?

There are dozens of facts about a single transaction. The Transactions screen allows you to customize what information you see about each transaction, from the document number or order number to the vendor, processing dates, or description. You can customize the data on the screen by using the Customize Column Preferences icon (highlighted below). The modal allows you to drag and drop columns to add/remove/reorder the columns in the transaction list. Changes made here will only impact your view.  The first five columns will remain fixed as you scroll.
