The Monthly Roll-Up report summarizes a dollar-type (Obligations, Commitments, Disbursements, Accruals) by OC code or Category found in an account and all of its subaccounts' during a selected time period.




How to Access the Monthly Roll-Up Report


First, navigate to the OC Detail or Category Detail Report using the Actuals Tab dropdown.

From the OC details or Category Details report click on any expenditure amount (the Shortcut to Transaction checkbox must be unselected)


The Monthly Roll-Up report will filter based on the dollar amount selected. For example, clicking the YTD amount for all OC codes will not have any filters when the Monthly Roll up report loads. On the other hand, if you click on the December expenditures for OC code 12*.** then the Monthly Roll Up report will only display data for the month of December and the OC code 12.


How to Use Filters and Change Data


As mentioned earlier the Monthly Roll up report is prefiltered depending on the dollar amount you selected from the OC detail or Category Detail page.

There are other options to change the filters once on the Monthly Roll up Report:


  • Account: Use the Account Navigator or Search Account function to change the Account you are reporting on. See the How to Change Accounts article for more detail. 
  • Fiscal Year: Use the FY drop-down found near the top right-hand corner to change the FY data the report uses. Note that the report data is limited to a single FY. 
  • OO/PS: The OO/PS drop-down allows you to filter by Other Objects, Personal Services, or both.

  • Dollar Type: Select from Obligations, Commitments, Disbursements, or Accruals

  • Time Period: This allows you to display a particular month, quarter, or the YTD total 

  • OC code or Category Filter: You will have access to change the OC code or Category depending if you reached this report from the OC detail or Category Report. (The character * acts as a WildCard when typing in the OC code)
