This page lists basic system settings, including:

  • The organization Beacon HR is configured to
  • The number of Beacon HR licenses that organization has acquired
  • The current version of Beacon HR running
  • The name and contact of the system administrator

Information about the system configuration can be edited by users with certain access rights.



System COLAs


Users can also use manage cost of living increases (COLAs) associated with different pay plans from the System Configuration page.  The system wide COLAs for an organization are listed by fiscal year, pay plan, increase amount, and effective date at the bottom of the System Configuration page.


Adding a new COLA

  1. Click on thebutton
  2. Select a fiscal year from the drop-down menu by clicking on the blue arrow and scrolling down. 
  3. Select a pay plan in the same manner.
  4. Type the increase amount in the data field.
  5. Choose the date the increase will be in effect.
  6. When you have finished entering all the necessary data fields, click the ADD button to add the new cost of living increase to the system.


Editing a COLA

Place your cursor anywhere over the COLA you would like to edit and click.  The COLA will become modifiable.

Adjust the COLA data as necessary.

When you have finished, click the SAVE button to save your changes. 

 

Deleting a COLA

 

Click theicon to delete the COLA from the system. 

 

A prompt will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the COLA.  If you are certain you would like to erase the COLA from the system, click OK.
