Visas
Beacon HR users can track available Visa information for an employee of any position classification in the Visa section of the Position Module. Visa information is tied to an employee's record. This means that the Visa record will be available for viewing on any position record available for an employee. The system stores one Visa type record per employee and syncs up modifiable data with the official data.
Adding a New Visa Record
If no Visa records exist for this employee, click Add one now? to add a new Visa record.
If a Visa record already exists for an employee, click Add + to add a new Visa record.
First, enter the Visa number (if available) and select the Visa type from the drop-down. Enter the date the Visa is effective and expiration date. There is a field available for any notes. When you are finished entering the data, press the Add button.
Note: Beacon HR will sync up with the official counterpart of this visa record as available during download.
Editing and Deleting a Visa Record
To edit a Visa record, simply click in the field you would like to edit.
Enter the updated information. When you have finished click Save to save your changes.
To delete a Visa record, simply press the [X] button. Be certain you would like to delete the record before you perform this action.
