The Dates screen displays all the important dates regarding an employee’s career. These dates are used for planning and projection purposes. You may use as many or as few of these fields as you like.
The following is a screen shot of the Dates Page and an explanation of key terms.
Entry on Duty: Dates employee joined each parameter listed. Planning Dates: Tracks departure dates, which may or may not reflect FTE usage Tenure Dates: Tracks employee tenure SCD (Leave): Date from which leave accrual and retirement credit are calculated Last Equivalent Increase: Date of the employee’s last equivalent increase, due to WIGI, promotion, or accession | Last Promotion: Date of the employee’s last promotion Current GR Start: Date of the employee’s latest position change Temporary Promotion: Date that a temporary promotion ends Temporary Reassignment: Date that a temporary reassignment ends Administrative Pay Increase Due Date: Date that administrative pay increase is due Retirement Eligibility Date: Date that the employee is eligible for retirement |
For users with appropriate edit rights, the text fields will be blank and modifiable. Simply edit the information as necessary and click Save Modifications, or press Cancel to cancel any unsaved changes.
For those without appropriate edit rights, the data fields in the Date screen will be shaded and cannot be changed.
Add a New Vice Position
From the Dates Page, users can enter a new Vice position. Clicking on the Vice Accession button from the Dates page will open the Position Wizard. You can process this planning record as a PLR or New Hire/Accession. Steps 3 and 4 will automatically populate with the viced employee’s position information. Once you save this planning record, the name of the employee the planning position is viced from will be stored on the Supplemental page of the new record:
