New HR Reports
- PDT Tier Report: A new standard report added under the Reports tab highlights the new PDT tier data (sensitivity and BI type). To view this report users must have access to the Sensitive data module.
- Direct Reports Report: A new standard report added under the Reports tab identifies supervisors and a list of their direct reports.
New HR Data Fields
- WIGI Total: Added as a new column for the front positions reporting tool. This column sums the total pay increase for an employee's upcoming WIGI.
- PDT Tier Data: Two new data points, sensitivity and BI type, were added to the Sensitive information page of an employee record. This new data should help administrative staff handle employee background checks.
- Parent Org Added to Org Chart: In the Admin hub under the organization chart there is a new column for the parent organization to help users better identify the organization hierarchy.
- Action Data: Four new data points were added as columns for the front position reporting tool (Action type, log #). For those institutes that utilize the Actions feature of Beacon HR users can use these new fields to track the status of all actions currently in progress.
- Position History Column: A new column is available for the front position reporting tool. This new data point displays an employee's complete career history at the IC. Unlike other columns that are position based this field will show the employee's past and current positions in one field.
- Employee Notes: Recently we added the ability to add notes for an employee or the position. The position notes are specific the position and do not roll over with a position change. The employee notes are general to the person and will roll over with each position change. These employee notes have been added as a column for the front position reports.
- Preferred Pronoun: A new data point downloaded from an employee's NED record. This field is manually updated by an employee and may appear blank if they have not added a value. Found on the Locator page in HR.
New Features
- Improvements to Payroll Projection Data Continued improvements to the payroll projections data including updates to our logic for BSC Members, Commission Core, Fellows and COLA tracking.
- Auto-populate Fellow Planning Awards: To improve fellow payroll projections we began automatically generating a planning award.
- Update to Excel Addin Function to Handle Parent and Child Orgs: HR Excel formulas now provide users the flexibility to isolate a parent organization or to include the children organization codes. Use the * after the Org to include the children organizations. For example, HNC1 isolates just the org code HNC1 while HNC1* includes the children organization codes.
- Position Page Search History and Next Position Features: At the top of every employee position screen are a series of widgets to scroll to the next employee in a filtered list or to review the last 10 records visited.
New or Updated Screens
- Revised Audit Log: The employee audit log received a complete revamp with an improved design to better identify changes to a position's data. Also included are new filters.
- Updated All Employee Position Screens: All employee position pages received a makeover to our new standard layout. There is now room for more data on the screen with the collapsable side menu.
- Updated Admin Screens: The Admin hub also received a makeover to our new standard layout.
