To adjust a budget entry, you must have permissions enabled in your user profile.
To get to the Budget Adjustments screen click the Planning tab and then Budgets. (You can also click a hyperlink budget dollar value from any other screen)
You will land on the last account you viewed. If you need to edit a different account's budget use the account navigator to search for an account or jump up and down the hierarchy.
The screen will display a summary of OO budget data for the selected account and its sub-accounts. If your user profile allows you to see PS data, then by default both OO and PS budget data will appear on the Display Budgets screen.
You can choose how many accounts display on the screen by using the radio button to switch from a single Account, the Account, and its descendants, or all the Accounts in your view. To adjust a budget entry, click on the + icon on the row of the desired account.
Provide a name for this budget entry. Then use the dropdown options to select the FY and the category (OO/PS).
When entering a number the system default is to add the number; if this is a subtraction, start the amount with a minus sign (-), no space, and the amount. For example, to take 3,000 dollars out of a budget, you would enter: -3000 in the "Budget" box. Finally enter and any supporting notes.
The system automatically saves as you type. But you can save your work by clicking the refresh button.
If you need to edit the budget simply type over the data you had previously saved.
To delete a budget, click the red trash can icon.
